Four nights camping, Two nights in a Ski Chalet, Two nights on a houseboat, One night in a Hostel

The Vancouver Island trip is for 12 and 13 year olds who love adventure and new experiences.  On this trip you will  go to surf school, walk in old growth forests, ocean kayak at sunset, wakeboard and waterski, snorkel with Salmon, learn about the wildlife, have campfires on the beach, and sleep in a Houseboat.

Newcastle Island - Day 1

After our meet and greet in Vancouver, we board the ferry and head to Vancouver Island where the fun begins! Our first stop is Newcastle Island Provincial Marine Park which is a tiny island off of Vancouver Island. There will be orientation, activities to get to know one another, a big welcome BBQ and campfire, and a night walk to look for owls and Golden Raccoons (albino raccoons that live on the island).

Strathcona Park - Day 2 & 3

After a night on Newcastle, its back to Vancouver Island to head to Strathcona Provincial Park. While staying at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort, you will have the opportunity to go to mountain bike school, hike in Paradise Meadows, swim in an alpine lake, and take part in our friendly Frisbee Golf competition.

Sproat Lake - Day 4 & 5

It is watersports time and our day begins with a visit to the Campbell River to go on a guided snorkeling tour with spawning Salmon.  After this adventure we head to Sproat Lake to go houseboating.  While on Sproat Lake, you will have one very full day of water skiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing which will be instructed by certified coaches.  Once the sun goes down the fun continues around our campfires on the beach.

Tofino - Day 6 & 7

Tofino is Canada's surf town and known for its incredible beaches, wildlife, rainforests, and great surf.  In Tofino you will have the opportunity to go to surf school ,ocean kayak at sunset with a chance to see: sea otters, black bears, eagles, porpoises, and seals, hike in an old growth rainforests, and ride along the beaches on beach cruiser bikes.

Rathrevor Provincial Park & Vancouver- Day 8 to 10

Rathtrevor Provincial Park is our last night of camping before heading back to Vancouver.  While in Vancouver we will have one full day to explore this great city which will include a gondala ride up Grouse Mountain and time in Stanley Park.
